Unlike other Asian girls blessed with great hair, mine is dry, frizzy and dull. (I have thick hair by the way) I tried a lot of products and none of them seem to work. Any tips/suggestions, please?

As far as products go, Sabino Moisture block is EXCELLENT!!! (Look at any customer review, they'll tell you the same.) This stuff is a serum you work into your hair after you shampoo, and you can use it to keep curls from frizzing, straighten with a blow drier or flat iron, etc....

....But here's the thing that separates this from all the other products! It is NOT WATER SOLUBLE!!! You could go out in fog, rain showers, 100% humidity, even swimming (bonus-protects against chlorine damage) and your hair will NOT FRIZZ. I swear to god. My city is like an oven in summer from the humidity, and i've gotten caught in a few storms, and my hair never poofs at all. Ever! And this is the only thing I put into my super, super curly and frizz prone hair!

Also, it has no alchohol. And your hair always looks smooth, supple and shiny because it locks moisture into your hair. With that extra moisture, you can use a nice ceramic flat iron ( I use the FHI Platform--it's cheaper than the CHI and works much, much better ) and touch up your hair EVERY DAY with VIRTUALLY NO DAMAGE! (and if anyone's hair would be damaged by that, it's mine...i've bleached it to within an inch of it's life)

I've spent a fortune on other products to help with my frizzy hair, to straighten it, and this does cost about $20 but a little goes a looong way. I use it three times a week on my shoulder length hair and the bottle lasts me 3-4 months.

Bottom line, try it. You definately won't be dissapopinted.

Ceramic hair straightners work like a charm on everybody.. plus some product like the serum from john freida. yes, it WILL fry up your hair on the long run but that's the price u gotta pay

I believe that curly hair just wants to fall in the direction it is growing, so I add conditioning products and wear my hair curly- it looks natural and healthy.

However, big hot rollers help and the results are great leaving your hair wavy and soft with no frizz.

Plus, hot rollers aren't as damaging as the hair dryer or harsh straightening solutions. (use a small amount ot setting solution, too much will weigh it down and feel sticky)

Do this once a week:

mix 1 cup coconut oit,half cup castor oil, and then take one full table spoon of melted butter(without salt) and mix it well. then massage with this oil mixture into your hair and leave it for over night . then wash your hair with any good brand of shampoo like Dove , Finesse etc. dont forget to use a good conditioner ,after shampoo.

Also protect your hair from sunlight and dust. keep them cover with scarf.

DO THIS ONCE A MONTH:

take a cup mayonnaise and apply it all over your hair and leave them for one hour. take a towel and dip it into hot water. squeeze it and cover your hair with it.leave it for half and hour more. then wash your hair.

your hair will be sooooooooo smoooooth.

Shampoo of flour of gram pulses: Apply paste of flour of gram pulse made with water on the hair twice a week and wash the hand after an hour. The hair becomes black, dense, clean, shining and soft. It also relieves itching or cures boils in the head.

My natural hair color is black. I first put L'Oreal Preference color all over my hair. I applied the shade Gold Brown (the one which is for dark hair only) it looked good.Then on the same day i applied L'Oreal Frost and Design Highlighting(Caramel color) and did highlights. Its a disaster.those highlighted strands are yellowish gold with a reddish tinge.Its looking very wierd and not suiting me at all(I am an asian).I dont know what i can do? I need to fix it somehow.Please help me with all the options available. I am also concerned with the health of my hair , but i guess its too late for that but i cant step out of my house without fixing this. get black dye and re-dye it the normal color...ask someone to buy it for you if you dont wanna leave the house...in a few weeks, dye it back to GoLd BrOwN and KEEP IT THAT COLOR!!!

Did you use bleach or peroxide? Did you strip the color form your hair? If not you can just buy black and go back to your normal color with no problem. Or if you just wait a little while it will probably kind of fade away and then you can see what you can do from there. It may not be so bad. But if you have the money and the time, GO TO A SALON! They can fix it for sure! Good luck!

Well hun the volume of peroxide in those kits are not very high and you may not have processed them long enough either go to a salon or re highlight the highlights again you can do this but be careful and watch it you can fry your hair if your nor careful

Some Asian guys have very buff bodies and that's a turn on. That's one reason they might be considered hot. I do see pretty Asian girls, and they turn the heads of every male who passes. You were probably outside in the sun a lot this year. Try using a shampoo made for dark hair, pantene and john freida have some. It will have a little bit of dye in it so it can make your tips a closer color to your roots.

when you are exposed in the sun for long hours your melanine is getting weaker...melanin is responsible for your color of your skin and hair..another reason is when you putting lot of hair creams and hairstyles(gel,wax etc.)..these could also decrease your melanin levels(hair color) and even chlorine from the swimming pools..

I think asians look really pretty with lighter pink make up on. Also if your eyes are dark some black or brown eye liner would look nice I think. Also blush would look really nice in a peach color. If you dye your hair, stay dark I think.

The best way 2 look hot is by applying a lot less than d hoochies of 2day do. Coz of ur skin color i suggest colors lyk glitery brown, gold n green. you can bend color in lyk i do i.e. gold layer then green to wards d end of ur eye bt dnt put too much green so it dnt overshadow d gold.

Please dont use alot of blush either so you dnt look ly a doll it aint pretty. jus lightly across ur cheekbones.

I'd say it's *mostly* in your head, sweetie. Although there are certain looks that come and go as styles change, each guy has his own individual tastes. We aren't so much into categorizing girls. You sound attractive and very nice. I personally think dark hair and blue eyes are a knockout combination. You know, if a guy tells you you're very pretty, he's definitely interested!

I'm getting my hair dyed by a professional pretty soon. I'm thinking about a dark chocolate brown or something, but with so many different shades of brown I'm unsure of what would suit my skin best. I have half black half asian skin, so it's difficult to find a good match.

I can't find a picture but I think that a dark brown will be perfect especially if you have had some honey-blond highlighs, but don't overdo with it.Tell your hairdresser about this idea and see if she/he agrees.And don't worry about your skin colour, it's beautiful!I think that my colour is a more difficult one!

I think that's a great color. Getting some caramel highlights, and some darker brown lowlights would really make it stand out and just look hot!
