Why has my hair gone curly?how can i fix it?

I was born with ultra straight asian looking hair(iam hispanic)At 6th grade my hair turned curly after a very low buzzcut.Now to keep an illusion that its straight i can let grow more than 3 inches.I wanted to know what caused my hair to grow curly and if theres anything i can do to fix it.now iam 19 yrs old and trying to get long hair.

I have no idea why your hair is now curly but the longer you wear your hair, the less curly it will be. The weight of long hair will pull the curl down. If you keep your hair cut really short, much of the curl will disappear also. Chemical straightners will damage your hair severely, as that's what chemicals do.

relax your hair. it will chemically straighten your hair. idk why it turned curly. but just get it relaxed so it will be straight again. also get a really good straightener like a chi.

Maybe it was always curly naturaly but since it was so long the weight of the hair pulled it down.

if you moved to a different country that has hot weather that might be the reason...or sometimes when you have long curly hair the curls dont really show because its long...to get your hair long you should eat protenes and get your hair trimmed every now %26amp; then.

and this tip is great: if you keep straitning your hair by blowdrying it your hair will get used to it and become straight by itself..

your hair may be naturally curly but when it was long the wieght made it straight.or it could be genetics look at older female relatives to find out how theirs were at your age.

it happened to my uncle, he had straight hair and then he had to have his head shaved and it is still curly, nothing helped him, but i was thinking maybe you should cut it all off and hope it will ocme out straight? or even shave it?

Well, puberty can change your hair texture. I know several people that had the same thing happen to them and the only thing we could figure out was that it changed at the same time they were going thru puberty.

You should just enjoy the diverse looks that are now optional to you! Curly is gorgeous, but you can always straighten it with products and flat irons!

Same thing happened to me too..until 6-7th grade I had an apsolutely straight hair and after that the more i grew old the more it was czrly..I think it has something to do with hormons or something like that.You should NOT try to make it straight with an iron..you will only damage it..it will get dry and ugly..so my opinion is to leave it the way it is..there is very little people who are blessed with that..you should be lucky that you have curly hair..because straight hair is more common.,.so many people have it..
