It just seems like guys gravitate towards blonde girls, w/ or w/out tans, brunette girls w/ tan or neutral skin and dark eyes, and towards African girls or of African descent, towards Asian girls, towards Latin girls...i have been told by many guys that I am very pretty, but it just seems in general guys tend to ignore the dark-haired, pale-skinned, light-eyed look. I don't know if this is my imagination or what, but it seems guys like girls who fit into a superficial category...I have curly dark hair, my eyes and skin are like a blonde's, but I have a few subtle freckles, and I am very petite and have a build similar to the stereotypical Asian build.So I cannot really be clumped into asuperficial "type" category"...it seems girls who do not match a category are overlooked by girls who do. Is this true, or is it all in my head?

I'd say it's *mostly* in your head, sweetie. Although there are certain looks that come and go as styles change, each guy has his own individual tastes. We aren't so much into categorizing girls. You sound attractive and very nice. I personally think dark hair and blue eyes are a knockout combination. You know, if a guy tells you you're very pretty, he's definitely interested!
