Permed hair disaster?

i just permed my hair yesterday and i really hate it!!it looks horrible on me!on the verge of panic,i combed and washed my hair (in order to soften the curls) only a few hours after i had it permed.fast forward the next day a.k.a today..my hair is a total disaster!it looks and feels dead to me.i have a naturally straight hair and now i'm regretting my decision to permed my hair!my hair now feels coarse and puffy and messy..what can i do to repair it?how long will it take for my hair to come back to normal?how can i straighten my hair back?if i can,how long should i wait before i can do it?someone..please help me.this is my first time experimenting with my hair and it end in disaster!!btw..i'm asian so maybe my condition is slightly different (as a result of our hot climate)..

well, i am a hair stylist.... First you need to apply vinegar(white) to your hair while its dry, like if your adding water. Let it sit for 20 min. or until it softens, then rinse. Once you have done that condition and wash 1-2 times, this should help er-train your hair, if you don't see a difference you should repeat this for 1-2 weeks.

I had a bad perm once and I had to wait for new hair to grow into chin length and then I cut it into a bob. But for a year straight I wore it up. You can wait a few weeks and then see if it can be permanently straightened, but it may damage your hair further. I would try to cut as much as I can off and use a really good hair straightner in the meantime...like the chi...so it does not burn your hair.

Im sorry this happened to you, I know what it feels like. I have to say it was the last time I ever permed my hair.

I would go back to the hair stylist and see what he/she recommends.

That's awful...that happened exactly to me but I had to get a hair relaxer to straighten out my curls, hopefully for you because your asian it goes back to normal (asians have beautiful hair) so...hopefully that works!

try going to a salon to see what they can do. try deep conditioners, leave in conditioners for temp. relief. Hair is dead, yours it really damaged.
