Im thinking about dyeing my hair black with blue tint, hence the title. the thing is , im asian and i have black hair naturally. so if i dye it, it wont really show, right? atleast thats what i heard from my friend. so do i need to bleach my hair or something? THEN dye it black/blue? i dont know what to do. i want to dye it at home because im kind of broke, and my mom wont pay for salon because its 'waste of money'. maybe it is, but i dont really care, i want to do this. so how do i dye my hair black with blue tint? like jet black with blue shine? i dont want it to be TOO blue, cuz it'll look weird. PLZ HELP?!?!

from my experience (which is a lot I die my hair ALOT alot of colors and friends tooo!) It will show your hair is black but its not the same black as the blueblack in boxes. ITs browner by comparision.
Also! Do NOT! Bleach your hair it will turn it orange, and then you wont get the color you want! Also, you can always try and fix it. Its just hair!

ooh don't bleach your hair. Those jet black colors will make your hair have a blue tint. I'm sure it will show up. Leave it on your hair longer than suggested..maybe 10 minutes longer.

What ever you do don't bleach it!!! You can put the black on there, you would see a slight color in certain light. I would see if you could find it a semi-permemant color. It will wash out after a few weeks and you can try something different or try a permenant hair color.
