Does anyone know anything about Aveda's full spectrum deep color for dark hair?

i have black hair (i'm mexican/asian) and want to have it lighted to a dark brown (like paula abdul or theresa on Passions). is this possible?

I am Native American and my origianal hair color is dark brown and very coarse. I get my hair high-lighted at an Aveda salon. My highlights are very similar to the color of Paula Adbul's hair, so it should be possible.

don't do a full colour..start with a few highlights around your face..and if you likke it , then go for a few more..full colour is too diffficult to maintain, and to grow out..just in case you do not like it in a few months,,
