Im an asian guy and my hair right now is short and comes out pretty rough. it grows out like a bush but its not curly like a fro. it grows semi upward so that its easy to spike with gel. got the picture?
I want to change it so that it grows out sort of like jay chou's hair (if you know him). http://img95.imageshack.us/img95/7796/17... short and coming downward but looks spiked on some ends with longer bangs.
maybe i just need a way of straightening it?

I would use a hair relaxer or go to a stylist and have them thin your hair. Jay's hair looks pretty thin and if your hair is thick, good luck making it looks sooo suave like his. Straightening it with a straightener will just make it straight and stiff without much sexy movement. I would recommend going to a stylist and having them thin, relax and possibly layer for the jagged edge. Im sure that will look reallly nice.

too emo. not so long bangs. plus you dont need that haircut asian guys are hot no matter what!

Buy some Bed Head styling wax. You can style it any way you want with that stuff.
