In need of a new look!?

I have a round face, long black hair, chingy-asian eyes (brown), and I have tanned skin.. my job is pretty professional, but I'm still young and hate feeling like I'm missing out.. so my question is, with my face-type, what are some cute ways to cut and style my hair , but also still look professional for work? Also, I'm horrible with make-up.. what are some good brands of make-up to use? As you can tell, I'm completely lost when it comes to being a girl haha...

If you want to dye your hair, I would go a shade lighter. Maybe a mocha brown OR some subtle highlights with a few layers. That is not too dramatic, but it is noticeable. You can put your hair half up or in a bun to look professional. I am Asian myself (half) and I use Clinique and Estee Lauder makeup. They have makeup that is suitable for all types of skin. I would go to a makeup girl at a department store and have them try shades on you to get your correct color. They also have other brands to try that you may find more suitable for your skin. Since it is hard to wear eyeliner on slanted eyes, I would just wear mascara and emphasize my lips with sheer pinks and lip gloss. My sister has the slanted eyes like my mom and she has problems with putting on eye makeup. She uses less eye makeup and draws attention to her lips with glosses or sheer lipstick. If you want to make your face look longer (since you said it is round) I would stick with a long haircut. I would also use blush to highlight your cheekbones. Have fun my dear.

well...i ahve side bangs on the right side and i love them! they are really cute and you can wear headbands and stuff. Also if you wear your hair up it is really cute to clip them back. so that might be good for you. mac eye liner is really good. If you go to sephora they have alot of different stuff so you might want to try that. =]

I have a round face too %26amp; I used to have my hair cut in a short bob that was longer in the front %26amp; shorter in the back but not too much of a slant %26amp; it was about 2 inches above my shoulders %26amp; really cute! But if you are like me when my hair was shorter my face looked alot rounder. It wasnt bad but since I have grown my hair back out people think I have lost weight just because my face doesnt look as round. You have to decided what would look best on you. Ask your Hair Stylist they will lead you down the right path. And about the make-up thing it really depends on the person %26amp; the skin. Myself I dont wear alot of make-up just mascara %26amp; powder but I use Covergirl powder %26amp; Loreal mascara. It is cheap %26amp; it still looks great! But some people have sensitive skin or dont want to buy cheap stuff so they go buy the high dollar stuff. Its your choice. But I hope this helps. Good Luck :)

if you want a DRAMATIC new look then i suggest you cut your hair short (since you have long hair) and get short layers that pop out. maybe some bangs.

if you like you LONG hair then you could put in some highlights. they dont have to be funky colored. they can be like brownish blond so they look professional and natural. i think w/ your tanned skin maybe you can pull of orange-ish brown highlights too. you can get bangs with this look talso. and style you hair by curling it one day, straightening it another, scrunching it (for tips on that go to videojug.com)

Makeup: i would suggest black eyeliner on top and slightly on the bottom of your eyes to make them look bigger. and then natural shades of eyeshadow. maybe some red-ish brown blush to go with your tan and then some brownish lip gloss. (not like DEEP DARK brown but like something that looks shiny and natural)

i would put highlights in your hair maybe a dark red or mid chocolate brown and i would do a razor cut meaning you'll still have your length but it will take out the bulk and give you cute layers that works great for a round face and make up wise go light with your foundation and but a nice brown color or goldish but put some brown on the outside of your eyes just to bring out your eyes more and wear a nice pink lip gloss kind off color
