I'm so glad that you do not want to relax your daughter's hair. Mothers with biracial children like you are so rare!

Is your daughter's hair full of dry curls? For moisture, I would suggest Dudley's PCA Moisiture Retainer. It works wonders on my dry hair, making it manageable and soft. It smells nice to.

Also you may want to check out this site. It has everything you need for your curly haired child. http://www.naturallycurly.com//

Oh, and don't believe that you eventually have to straighten her hair. My mother let me keep my curls, and I didn't start straightening my hair until I was 16. Even then, my hair is usually in it's natural state.

try to tie it up in a high tight pony tail and hairspray thefrnt so t stays down. maybe wen she gets older she can straighten her hair or just get side bangs and straighten the sidebang part. my friend has that same type of hair your daughter has and wen she puts her hair llik tht it look really cute

well i know you don't want to straighten it,but if you do you can straighten it and make pigtails, or just brush her hair and you can make a ponytail on top of her head.

It depends on the type of curly hair she has. I am biracial too. I am giving a list of products that work on biracial hair.

I wouldn't relax her hair either. My mother did when I was young and I know finally have my good hair back. The key is to keep the hair moisturized. Try those sites and see what you think.

Also another good resource about biracial hair would be

forums.blackhairmedia.com

Hope this helps.
