I am asian with long black hair. Will I regreat getting it cut and coloured.

well it depend how you want your hair to be cut short or in layer i tell u my suggestion because im a hair stylst by the school comsetology well anyway try to cut your hair in layer dont cut your hair in layer so short and put highlight that will come out real nice and i think you will like it the way the hair will come out and you wont regret because you are tryin to make a new look for yourself and being new you

Well u can get it cut but once u color it, in a month it will be grown out and ur natural haircolor will be growing in at the top of your head then u have to get it dyed over and over again and it wastes money so just go with some highlights or forget it and get a cute cut =]

No, besides, if you do go lighter, you can always colour it back. You may regret cutting it though, so don't go too extreme, gradually go shorter otherwise you may get a bit of a shock.

make your hair medium, not that long and not that short. and i prefer highlighting it instead of cloring it. go 2 a beauty salon, they will do it perfectly fine and if u wil regret it which i wont then your hair still will grow and ofcourse you will have to cut them and the highlights wil vanish as the hair grows u know.

Don't do it. I have asian family members who have and their hair never comes out the way they imagined. Plus, trying to grow out dyed hair sucks.

and you can color it similar to your natural hair color, so it blends when it grows out.

No Way! go for it. now a days tons of people do crazy stuff with their hair, as long as you keep it subtle and cute, everyone will love it. if later you decide you dont like it, you can just color it back to its original color. or, you can get temporary hair coloring to see if you like it, before you permanently color it.

I think you should do whatever you want....but, I personally wouldn't. I had my hair colored all through high school and college and It took forever to get my natural hair color back. When you color your hair you have to be prepared to color it every couple months for the outgrowth. It's really annoying and it's harsh on your hair. Think about it!

Since you have black hair, I'd leave it natural myself.. BUT if you do want color...get a brown color with red in it...it won't make your hair red or brown (it's hard to dye black hair!)...but in the sun, your hair will have a goldish- red undertone. Somone I know did it and it'd looked so adorable.

Okay, i think, personally, you shouldn't color it, cause im sure you have gorgeous black hair, but try getting angled/side swept bangs, or layering your hair. If u wanna color your hair, go for a dark auburn or dark brown. that would look good. Never go blonde though, it might not look great with your complexion and everything.

I think u shouldn't really color your hair because it would hide your natural color, and you don't need it since u don't have

gray hairs or anything. Afterall if u keep dying your hair it will get very dry. As for the cut i wouldnt cut it that much because "hair takes a long time to grow and a little time to cut it". I suggest getting highlights because they don't hide ur natural color, but just gives it a little flair.

For myself I love long dark hair but in the end if you just want a change and not doing it for someonne, why not?
